Workshops None planned but watch this space! Special Events Dances from the Desert - a story of Temple and Tribe Criterion Theatre, Saturday 24 July 2010, 7.30pm This is a first for Earlsdon - a unique collaboration between local bellydance groups, featuring different dance styles and props, including swords, sticks and candles. The show tells a story in dance and music set over a 24 hour period, giving a glimpse of the everyday lives of an Egyptian temple-dwelling community of priestesses, and of a small nomadic warrior tribe who travel through the surrounding desert. On this particular day the paths of the two groups cross...with lively and colourful results! Tickets are £9 each.
