Before arriving at the Theatre
- You won’t be able to buy drinks on the night physically at our bar but you can order and pay for drinks and ice cream by using our fantastic online bar app which can be accessed by using the link: https://www.criteriontheatre.co.uk/bar
- YOU MUST PURCHASE PRE-SHOW DRINKS/ICE CREAM BEFORE 6.30PM ON THE DAY OF THE PERFORMANCE, AS ANY ORDERED AFTER THIS POINT MAY NOT BE READY FOR YOU.
- You can also order an after-show drink at the same time, so it will be waiting for you once the show is finished.

Arriving at the Theatre
- If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, however mild, please do not come to the Theatre. Stay at home and follow Public Health advice.
- If you are arriving at the theatre by car, please be aware that there will be extremely limited car parking. Please try to park on the street.
- Please do not arrive until after 7pm. The auditorium will not open until 7.15pm and there will be no waiting allowed inside the building. Instead you will be asked to queue outside, so remember an umbrella if it’s likely to rain.
- A Box Office volunteer will check off your name on the list of ticket purchasers. This also acts as our Track and Trace procedure. It would be helpful to additionally have your electronic ticket receipt with you either on your phone or a printed copy to refer to if necessary.
- Please bring as few personal belongings as possible. The cloakroom will be out of use so you will be asked to take your belongings into the auditorium.
In the Theatre
- Please sanitise your hands as you enter and exit the building.
- Please be aware of others around you and respect social distancing.
- Please bring your mask with you and we encourage you to wear it at all times when moving around inside the building unless you are seated.
- The collection point for drinks will be in the foyer and drinks can be taken into the auditorium.
- Once you have sat down in the auditorium, you should remain seated until the show is over. We will be utilising the fire exit doors in a one way system out of the theatre. Our Front of House team will be stationed at key points to assist you.
- If in extreme circumstances you do need to leave the auditorium during the production, you should do so through the main auditorium doors.
- After the show, do come and join us for some socialising and a drink at the tables at our pop-up bar area in the car park, or back inside the auditorium if the weather is bad. Last orders on the bar app will be at 10:30pm.
